Summary

Kaleo’s is not in Hilo but, we would not be a good hosts at Ala Kai Bed and Breakfast if we didn’t mention this wonderful eatery.

Picture a tired and hungry guest from somewhere far-away on the planet that just arrived. I ask them if they would like a restaurant recommendation and offer Kaleo’s as as the only choice. Only once have we had a complaint after thousands of referrals… she said that there were too many croutons on her cesar salad, LOL.

There are actually two Kaleo’s restaurants, one in Pahao (pictured above) that has old Hawaiian charm and great food at great prices. Kaleo’s always has great sea food, pasta, Hawaiian plates, steaks and don’t forget the lilikoi cheese cake.

The second Kaleo’s in new and just opened in Orchid Land. It is a more modern version with lots of comfortable seating and more of a sports bar with local dinners and live music.
